It all started with my "Bags under 1K" research, where I featured the almond leather Bottega Double Knot from Fashionphile in Part 3. I was kind of smitten with the simplicity of the bag so I kept going back to look at it, but when I started to really consider it, it was sold. I kept an eye out on Fashionphile and when the Double Knot became available in black (for under 1k!) I had to jump on it.
The retail price of this bag has recently gone up from $1,250 to $1,600, but to tell you a little secret, not all resale companies are aware of the change yet, so snagging this bag in excellent condition for under 1k is very possible.
The Double Knot bag also comes in a jacquard version, it's a lower price point since it is made out of fabric and not leather. They are sold out pretty much everywhere, but if you browse the pre-loved market you may find a few (I know Poshmark has some, as well as Rebag).
This bag is pretty roomy and cute as a button, and I'm already dreaming up outfits that it will go perfectly with. I'm thinking of doing a video or reel comparison between the Double Knot and the mini Jodie, let me know if that's something that may be of interest!
